Not the best, a lot of items on shelves with no price tags, which is surprising for the amount of staff they seem to have doing nothing. Store seems to always be very untidy and the management seem to be clueless. Use the St Albans store if you want a better experience.

I gave a good review some time ago.
Now I want to get into how The Range has gone downhill. I wanted to telephone them. I did an online search and got two numbers. One is for the store direct. I called 3 times over a 30 minute period and no one answered so I thought let me try the other number. This one gives all number of options and finally when you think you're going to speak to some member of staff the recorded voice states, go to our website and find your store number there, and call it. This happened twice. Anyway, I was fuming by now, and I thought how can a company treat their loyal customers in such a way?
My wife also noted that the Hemel Hempstead (Apsley) stores floor was not clean.
I also noted that some of the duvets are not priced. I also noted that the 5 litre Adblue was also not priced.
Hopefully things will improve.

The staff at The Range Hemel Hempstead are always lovely and helpful. Click and collect orders are usually handled efficiently, and on the rare occasion they’re not ready, the team is happy for me to find the items myself, which works perfectly for me. Simply cannot complain—this store does exactly what I need!

looooooove the Range especially the craft section........when I dont feel ok...I go there and have a stroll about,guaranteed to find something to purchase and make me feel better...All the shelves are being stocked up for Halloween and Christmas,I am not a fan of either,but its great for young children and parents.
Usually a good selection of everything a nice coffee bar and seating area and a toilet....Always a good thing....
